5th Annual World Oceans Day Festival.

A four day festival leading up to our World Oceans Day celebration which will take place on Sunday, June 9 at the Iona Port.

 Schedule of Events

Thursday, June 6
– Frolic’n Folk Pub – Bras d’Or Trivia – 8 pm

Friday, June 7
– Branch #124, Iona Legion – 6 – 7pm, Haddock Supper
Entertainment – 7 – 9pm for under 19 – After 9pm – 19 years and over only.

Saturday, June 8
– 10am – Iona Port Beach Clean Up and Hike
– 10am – 4pm – Biadh is Baile | Highland Fare Day, Highland Village
– 11am – 1pm – Iona Port Market
– 5 – 8pm – Cèilidh at Frolic’n Folk Pub
– 8 – 12pm – Dance, Iona Legion – Music by  Full Circle (19 years & over)

Sunday, June 9
– 9 – 11:30am – World Oceans Day Think Tank Breakfast

Ferrymen’s Hall, Grand Narrows Waterfront

* There will be exhibit booths, touch tank, interactive displays, entertainment  and a barbecue throughout the day at the Port.
